Annie "Sue" Hannah Poe

Funeral service 2:00PM Tuesday at McEvoy Funeral Home with her son James F. "Sonny" Poe, Jr., U.S. Navy Chaplain officiating, burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Stephen, Timothy, Jonathan and Nathan Poe, Michael Lawton and Sean Garner.

Visitation 4:00 - 8:00 PM Monday and after 10:00 AM Tuesday.

She was born in Chattanooga, TN to the late Peter S. and Albert Donovan Hannah. On February 10, 1941 she married James F. Poe, Sr., he preceded August 31, 2006.

Survived by daughters: Barbara (Anthony) Lawton, Greenfield, NH, Linda (James) Perry, Springville, TN, Norma Jean Coones, Clarksville, TN; son: James F. "Sonny" (Betty Jane) Poe, Jr., Springville, TN; grandchildren: fourteen; great-grandchildren: thirty-six; great great-grandchildren: twelve.

Preceded by a son-in-law: Larry Coones and three brothers: Wallace, Jack and Dennis Hannah.

Sue was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church. She was a Registered Nurse receiving her degree at Union University and was retired from Henry County General Hospital.
