Mr. Al LaFreniere of Springville, TN passed away Friday, January 29, 2016, at the age of 81. His Funeral Service will be held at McEvoy Funeral Home 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 3, 2016. Dr. Trent Bullock of First Baptist Church in Paris will officiate; burial will follow in Henry County Tabernacle Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday 4:00-7:00 PM, February 2, 2016 and after 9:00 AM Wednesday. Family and Friends are named as Pallbearers. Mr. Al was born November 18, 1934 in Saginaw, MI to the late Alfred D. LaFreniere and Winifred Koehler LaFreniere. He is survived by his wife Cindy DeMott LaFreniere of Springville, TN who he married on December 15, 1984. Mr. Al LaFreniere is survived by daughter; Julie (Carl) Sorget, Midland, MI; sons; Freddie (Beth) LaFreniere, Midland, MI; Richard (Pam) LaFreniere, Ft. Gratiot, MI; Eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; brothers; Denny LaFreniere, Simi Valley, CA; Larry LaFreniere, Florida; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Mr. LaFreniere served in the U.S. Coast Guard and worked as a Barber. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Paris, Tennessee, Member of the Golden Gloves, He graduated from Arthur Hill H.S. in Saginaw, MI, and he liked to fish.
