He was born in Cairo, IL to the late Sidney and Katie Clark Powers. Married to Pearlene Reeves Powers 1942-preceded February 15, 1972; Myrtie Maurien Claxton Williams September 15, 1972-preceded February 15, 1973; Minnie Raye Cate Powers June 7, 1980-preceded February 18, 2012. Preceded by sisters: Esta May Powers and Zelma Powers; brothers: Raymond Powers and Omer Powers. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Albert was a Lutheran by faith. He retired from Emerson Electric Company in the Maintenance Department with over 30 years of service. He formerly lived in St. Louis, MO where he owned and operated a full service gas station.
