Funeral service for Mrs. Shortridge will be Thursday 11:30 AM at the Antioch United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with Rev.Paul McAdoo officiating, burial will follow in the church cemetery. Named as pallbearers are: Bob Wagner, Don Bowling, Dick Breedlove, Ken Sloan, Damon Coburn and Billy Pool. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Thursday at the church until service time. She was born in Muncie, IN to the late Robert And Mae Wilson. In 1972 she married Charlie Shortridge, he survives in Springville, TN. Survived by daughters: Cindy Shortridge, Seattle, WA, Carla Davis, Anderson, IN, Kristina (Bob) Doepel, Amsterdam, NY; sons: Jeff Shortridge, Indianapolis, IN, Larry Kemp, Muncie, IN, Tom Shortridge, Muncie, IN; thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Preceded by all of her sisters and brothers. Alice never met a stranger, she loved all of her family and friends. She was an avid gardener, growing and canning her own vegetables, was an outstanding cook and she loved to fish.
