Mrs. Amy Elois Robertson, age 80, of Puryear, TN, died at her residence on Sunday, April 24, 2011. Her funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 11:00 a. m. in the McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Bill Smith, Nashville, TN and Bro. Christopher Hefner, of Buchanan Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in the Buchanan Baptist Church Cemetery. The visitation will be on Tuesday at McEvoy Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. and continue on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the service time. Mrs. Robertson was married on July 14, 1950 to Roy D. Robertson, who survives. She is also survived by sons; Danny Robertson, Puryear, TN, Dennis Robertson, Puryear, TN, David (Julia) Robertson, Summerville, SC, Darrel (Wanda) Robertson, Buchanan, TN, Donald (Lee Ann) Robertson, Meeker, OK. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law; Lucille Bucy, St. Louis, MO. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and a special friend, Betty Gallimore. Mrs. Robertson is preceded by parents; Oren Smith and Pearl McCutcheon Bucy, sister; Laura Sue Bucy and a brother; William Everette Bucy.
