Mrs. Kendall will have a private family service and burial at Sulphur Well Church of Christ Cemetery.
On Friday a memorial visitation is scheduled at Henry County Heritage Center from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M.
She was born in Big Sandy, Benton County, TN to the late Thomas Edmond and Aliene Akers Cantrell. On July 29, 1939 she married Joe Baker Kendall, Sr., he preceded July 4, 2007.
Survived by a daughter: Karol Kendall (Duncan III) Fort, Nashville, TN; son: Baker (Dottie) Kendall, Springville, TN; sister: Bethel Cantrell Williams, Paris, TN; grandchildren: Kelly Kendall (Steve) Hoggard, Jason (Diane) McCord, Duncan (Cameron) Fort, IV, Kendall Fort (Cooper) Samuels; four great-grandchildren; nieces: Jane Williams (Richard) Davis, Nashville, TN and Diana Cox (Tommy) Stone, Arlington, TX.
Mrs. Kendall attended Lee School, Atkins-Porter School and graduated from Grove High School in 1937. A member of East Wood Church of Christ, Blossomway Garden Club since 1950 and Paris Quota Club since 1966. She and her husband owned and operated Western Auto and Kendall True Value Hardware for 33 years.
