Annie "Sue" Lewis Houston, age 83 of Paris, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 at AHC Healthcare in Paris. Her funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Expressway Church of Christ in Wildersville, TN with Steve Wilkinson of Sunset View Church of Christ in Spring Creek, TN officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis Cemetery in Wildersville. Visitation will be from 3:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at McEvoy Funeral Home and after 10:00 AM Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Expressway Church of Christ, prior to the service. Annie Sue Lewis Houston was born February 15, 1937 in Wildersville, Tennessee to the late Ellie Gee Lewis and the late Lula Mae Fesmire Lewis. On April 9, 1955 she married Paul Dean Houston and he preceded her in death on March 28, 2005. Ms. Houston was a very active Christian lady who was involved in many charitable events. She was well known for being so helpful to customers during the time she was employed by Walmart in Paris. Annie "Sue" Houston is survived by her daughter, Frieda (Eddie) Carpenter of Henry, TN; son, Timothy Paul Houston of Union City, TN; three sisters: Virginia Maness of Wildersville, TN, Lounete Parish of Huntingdon, TN, and Marie Eason of Wildersville, TN; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides her parents and her husband, Ms. Houston was also preceded in death by three sisters: Mary Rhodes, Gladine Barker, and Excel Davis; and six brothers: Joe Lewis, L.G. Lewis, Morton Lewis, James Lewis, Frank Lewis, and J.T. Lewis.
