Funeral service 11:00 AM Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Dakin-Paris First Church of Nazarene and Bro. Don Simmons formerly of Paris First Church of Nazarene officiating, burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be William Barkley, Matthew Barkley, Larry Pettenger, Scott Rowland, Harold Taylor and Sam Cole. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00 PM Friday and after 10:00 AM Saturday. She was born in Henry County to the late Cleveland G. and Pearl McDaniel Glover. On November 5, 1955 she married and is survived by her husband Ben Knight. Survived by a daughter: Benita (Tony) Barkley, Adamsville, TN; grandchildren: Becky Claybrook, Lexington, TN, Will and Matt Barkley, both of Adamsville and a great-grandchild: C.J. Claybrook, Lexington. Preceded by two sisters: Cora Taylor and Mary Mondou; three brothers: W.C, Henry and Joe Glover. Mrs. Knight was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She had heart problems most of her life and received one of the first Star Edwards heart valves in 1967. She worked as a telephone operator for Southern Bell for 6 years before moving to Memphis in 1956, there she worked as a relief operator for Mallory Air Force Depot and 2709th Air Force Control Group and then as a permanent operator at Millington Naval Air Station.
