Visitation Sunday 2:00 - 5:00 PM at the New Johnsonville First United Methodist Church and Monday 12:00 - 1:30 PM at McEvoy Funeral Home. Mrs. McClain was born in Wickliffe, Ky to the late Sandy and Katherine Allen. On December 25, 1928 she married Aaron Layborn "Mac" McClain, he preceded September 18, 1992. Survived by daughters: Carolyn Baucum, Brentwood, TN, Rebecca (W.C. "Bubba") Lockhart, New Johnsonville, TN; grandchildren: Pat (Hank) Kress, Knoxville, TN, Shelia Baucum,(Bill Stewart), Brentwood, TN, Bo David Waldo (Paula) Lockhart, Tulas, OK, Beth (Todd) Tefft, New Johnsonville, TN; great-grandchildren: Houston Kress, Becca-Rae Tefft, Bryan Allen Tefft, Cameron Tefft; nieces: Sandra Robles, Patty (Dave) Williams; nephews: Bobby (Nancy) Irby and Tommy Irby. Preceded by three sisters: Oneida Irby, Uva Perry and Nelda Allen; two brothers: Hubert Allen and Oran "Bub" Allen. She was a long time member of the West Paris Baptist Church. Worked at the former Nobles Hospital in Paris as an LPN snd was a private duty nurse at Henry County General Hospital.
