Austin Comer Perry, Jr., age 80 of Paris, Tennessee passed away Sunday at Henry County Medical Center. His funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 23, 2022 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Parrish officiating. Entombment will follow services at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are, Terry McLeese, Travis McLeese, Mason Perry, Houston Perry, Lee Perry and John Tipton; with Jim Thigpen named as an honorary pallbearer. Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Friday and after 10:00 A.M. Saturday at McEvoy until time of service. Austin Comer Perry, Jr. was born June 20, 1942, in Paris, Tennessee to the late Austin Comer Perry and the late Opal Irene Hicks. He married Patsy Graves Perry on March 30, 1963, and she survives in Paris. Austin is also survived by his sons, Craig Perry and his wife Shelli of Paris and Paul Perry and his wife Ashley of Monument, Colorado; grandchildren, Houston Perry, Mason Perry, Graves Perry, Callie Pierce and Lee Perry. Austin was a Boy Scout as well as an adult leader with Troop 28 in Paris. He was a graduate of Memphis State University. Austin was a charter and life member of the PIKE fraternity at UT Martin. He owned and operated his own accounting business for 30 plus years in Paris. Austin enjoyed boating, Titans football, golfing, and was a member of West Tennessee Seniors.
