Barbara D. Bohn, age 88 of Paris, TN passed away Friday, April 12, 2024, at AHC of Paris. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, April 20th at 2:00 p.m. at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Edward Howard of Sparks Street Church of Christ officiating. A private family burial will follow the service. Visitation with the family will be after 12:00 p.m. Saturday, until service time at McEvoy Funeral Home. Barbara Bohn was born March 22, 1936, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Julius C. and Alma Schmidt Weissman. On September 17, 1955, she married Stan E. Bohn and he preceded her in death on October 1, 1994. Barbara was a member of Sparks Street Church of Christ and truly loved her church family. She also loved her Titan's football team and adored her dogs and cats. Barbara is survived by two daughters: Brenda "Bobbi" Lee Bohn of Knoxville, TN and Debbie Machan of Paris, TN; two sons: Michael S. Bohn of North Carolina and Scott A. Bohn of Paris, TN; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family wishes to express their gratitude to AHC and their staff for the care and concern shown while Barbara was there.
