Funeral service 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bobby O'Dell officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Jason Smith, Steve DeLaney, Charlie Neal, Bob Comer, Jerry Scarbrough, Logan Dodd, Don Cate and Bill DeWees. Visitation 4:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 11:00 A.M. Wednesday. She was born in Marshall County, MS to the late Eldon Garner and Mavia Rochelle Garner. On June 18, 1949 she married Robert "Bob" Carrington who survives in Paris, TN. Survived by daughter: Tracey Carrington (David) Beasley of Buchanan, TN; sons: Robert Donald (Mary) Carrington of South Haven, MS, Dale Garner (Andrea) Carrington Sr. of Kearns, UT, Edwin Carrington of Paris, TN; sisters: Debra Garner (Buddy) Flowers of Atoka, TN, Renee Garner (Curtis) Cook of Holly Springs, MS; five grandchildren: Dale Jr, Ben and Allison Carrington, Jonathan and Nathan Beasley; great-grandchild: Zander Carrington. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Mrs. Carrington was a member of Eastwood Church of Christ. A family member said that she was a loving dutiful wife, a loving mother and a faithful Christian who with her husband served the Lord faithfully.
