Beatrice Sheets Wood Ragland, age 82, Puryear, TN, died November 11, 2008 at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville. Her funeral will be 11:00 AM Friday at McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday and after 10:00 AM Friday. She was the daughter of Joseph R. and Henrietta Neighbors Sheets, and the widow of Leslie Ragland, all preceded. She is survived by daughters, Debbie Ragland, Indianapolis, IN, Lesley (James) Bau, Puryear, TN, sons, Forrest (Diane) Wood, Burkeburnette, TX, Joseph Wood, Puryear, TN, Thomas Ragland, Indianapolis, IN, sister, Joanna Evans, Garland, TX, brothers, Robert Sheets, Columbus, NC, Cleve Byars, Ft. Myers, FL, six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
