Beatrice Jean Hart Raines, age 85, of Paris, TN, passed away Wednesday November 16, 2016 at Benchmark Healthcare of Puryear, TN. Funeral service 2:00PM Sunday, November 20, 2016 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Corey Cain of Maplewood Baptist Church officiating, burial will follow at Puryear City Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Jason Raines, Dylan McNutt, Mike McNutt, Bryant Peale, Milton Peale and Troy Bruce. Visitation 4:00 - 7:00PM Saturday and after 12:00PM Sunday. She was born February 5, 1931 in Henry County, TN to the late James O. and Eunice Paschall Hart. On July 9, 1948 she married Carl Thomas "Buddy" Raines, he survives, Paris, TN. Survived by a daughter: Kim (Mike) McNutt, Paris, TN; son: Larry (Pat) Raines, Paris, TN; sister: Lois Peale, Cottage Grove, TN; grandchildren: Jason (Natalie) Raines, Patricia Ramirez, Dylan McNutt, Brittany Espinosa; great-grandchildren: eight; great great-grandchildren: three. Preceded by a sister: Wilma Ferguson; brother: Dorris Hart and a grandson: James Daniel McNutt. Mrs. Raines was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church.
