Bernie B. Bomar, age 70, of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at his residence. His body is to be cremated and a private celebration of life will be planned for a later date. Bernie was born July 5, 1953 in Paris, Tennessee to the late Bernard B. Bomar and the late Juanita Barnett Bomar. He married Cheryl Kosser Bomar on November 15, 1996 and she preceded him in death on August 29, 2014. He is survived by his son, Shannon (Christy) Bomar and grandson, Hugh Bomar, all of Paris; niece, Misty (Casey) McGregor of Martin; and by great niece and nephew, Emma and James McGregor. Mr. Bomar was a graduate of Henry County High School. He formerly worked for Holley Carburetor of Paris. Bernie later became an LPN, working for Henry County Healthcare and Morningside Assisted Living of Paris.
