Betty Carrol McKenzie Brown, age 84 of Henry, Tennessee passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at her residence. Her funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 11, 2021 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Dale Joyner officiating. Grandsons will act as pallbearers and burial will follow services in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled on Saturday after 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 2:00 P.M. Betty Carrol McKenzie Brown was born September 24, 1936 in Paris, Tennessee to the late Raymond W. McKenzie and the late Winnie Ruth Baker McKenzie. She married Glenn Brown October 21, 1954 and he preceded her in death March 27, 2019. Betty is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Dale) Joyner of Henry, Tambre (Robert) Abbott, Paris, Hope Brown (John Lowery) of Henry; grandchildren, Jil Joyner, Matt Joyner, Justin (Leah) Marr, Andrew (Kayla) Marr, Trevor (Nichole) Marr, Bo Abbott, Aaron Abbott and Pyper Abbott; great grandchildren, eleven survive and one preceded; and she is survived by her best friend and sister Shirley Mann of McKenzie. Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Brown is also preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy Burke, Wealthy Fischer, Anita Harrison and Bonnie McCall and by brothers, Roy, Edwin, Raymond and L.T.
