She was born in Detroit, MI to the late Leslie Carmack and Eunice Lee Holley Guthrie. On February 13, 1954 she married Robert "Bob" Royce Garrett, he preceded February 14, 2001. Survived by sons: Leslie Garrett, Cottage Grove, Ricky Garrett, Cottage Grove, David (Michele) Garrett, McKenzie; six grandchildren: Christie Lamb, Heather Garrett, Tiffany Garrett, Christopher Garrett, Austin Garrett, Ryan Bomar and several great-grandchildren. Preceded by two brothers: Randall Guthrie and Gene Guthrie.
