Memorial service 2:00PM Sunday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Smith of Palestine United Methodist Church officiating. Visitation 1:00PM Sunday until service time. She was born in Chicago, IL to the late Thomas Gerald Evans and Mary Sue Priddy Cook. Survived by daughters: Sherry Ann (Dennie) Mitchell, Dresden, TN, Jamie Sue (Luke) Richardson, Buchanan, TN; sister: Sharon Daugherty, Richmond, TX; grandchildren: seven; special aunt: Ann Pack, Henry, TN, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded by a brother: Thomas Evans. Betty was a member of the Henry United Methodist Church. She worked at Redmon's Barbecue for 16yrs and Hoffman's Barbecue for 2yrs, she was last employed at Atlantic Homes of Henry until becoming disabled and she was a licensed cosmetologist. She loved animals, gardening, arts and crafts and was a member of the CKC and AKC Kennel Clubs. Memorials may be made to Shop With A Cop, c/o Henry County Sheriff's Office, P.O.
