She was born in Chicago, IL to the late Thomas Gerald Evans and Mary Sue Priddy Cook. Survived by daughters: Sherry Ann (Dennie) Mitchell, Dresden, TN, Jamie Sue (Luke) Richardson, Buchanan, TN; sister: Sharon Daugherty, Richmond, TX; grandchildren: seven; special aunt: Ann Pack, Henry, TN, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded by a brother: Thomas Evans. Betty was a member of the Henry United Methodist Church. She worked at Redmon's Barbecue for 16yrs and Hoffman's Barbecue for 2yrs, she was last employed at Atlantic Homes of Henry until becoming disabled and she was a licensed cosmetologist.
