Betty J. Murphy, age 84 of Paris, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at her residence. Her body is to be cremated and buried in Memorial Cemetery with no services scheduled at this time. Betty J. Murphy was born December 2, 1935 in Neodesha, Kansas to the late Arthur Ray Tippie and the late Catherine Hardin Tippie. On April 20, 1979 she married Doniel Wayne "Don" Murphy and he preceded her in death on July 1, 2009. Ms. Betty was a people person who worked at Dana and Subway. She loved to travel and she loved her animals. Betty is survived by her special friends and caregivers: Tammy (Randy) Vinson, Jasmine Vinson (Lee Dicus), Heather (Matt) Ruddell, Sierra Pinson, Brody & Savannah Stepp, Anna & Kira Dicus, and Pete & Delois Capps, all of Paris. Besides her parents and husband, Betty was also preceded in death by two sons: Paul Schwarz and David Schwarz; and a special friend and caregiver, Larry Joe Smith.
