Betty M. Peppers, age 82 of Paris, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Henry County Medical Center. Her family will have a private service with Bro. Randy Stephens officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Betty M. Peppers was born January 19, 1938 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Hubert C. Dean and the late Irene Hunter Dean. On July 18, 1953 she married Rufus Peppers, Jr., and he preceded her in death on February 10, 2004.
Betty is survived by two daughters: Janet Vaghy and Carol (Jeffrey) Geehring both of Paris; two sons: Doug (Melissa) Peppers and Mark Peppers both of Paris; grandchildren: Megan (Matt) Treber, Marisa Ann Vaghy, Jarrett (Brandi) Griffee, Jeremy Geehring, W. Anthony (Bethany) Peppers, Ryan Peppers, Kara (Mark) Elsner, Hannah Peppers, Dillon Baccus, Courtney (Joseph) Thomasson, and Blair (Jessica) Peppers; thirteen great grandchildren; one sister, Helen McElroy of Bremen, IN; and one brother, Charles Dean of South Bend, IN.
Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Peppers was also preceded in death by a grandchild, Vanessa Griffee.
Betty Peppers was a resident of Henry County for 34 years after moving from South Bend, Indiana. She was Corporate Officer of Peppers Automotive Group.
