Betty McCullough Vaughn, age 94 of Paris passed away Friday, September 20, 2019 at Morningside of Paris. Her funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, September 23, 2019 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Jim McCampbell officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 PM Monday prior to the service at McEvoy Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Mike Garner, Michael Lockman, Finis Bell, Jim McCampbell, Pat Largent, and Debbie Traver. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mickie Norman, Bill Weaver and Alan Lancaster. Betty McCullough Vaughn was born April 5, 1925 in Henry County, Tennessee to the late A.L. McCullough and the late Ruth Kendall McCullough. On July 21, 1950 she married Owen Vaughn and he preceded her in death on December 17, 1992. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jackie Waterfield in 2007. Mrs. Vaughn is survived by her son, Lee Vaughn of Paris. Betty Vaughn was a longtime member of Whitlock Church of Christ and East Wood Church of Christ. She was an R.N. and worked at Henry County Medical Center as the operating room supervisor.
