Longtime Quinn Chapel AME Church member Betty C. Williams age 81 of Paris passed away Saturday July 2, 2015 at Henry County Healthcare. A memorial visitation will be 4:00 - 6:00PM Friday July 10, 2015 at McEvoy Funeral Home. She was born in Paris to the late Blanch and Mary Hayes McGehee. On December 2, 1972 she married Wrather Williams, he preceded. Survived by daughters: Carol (Gordon) Phillips, Chicago, IL, Sandra Hewitt, Evanston, IL, Coltilia "Shnika" Williams, Paris, TN, Pamela (Daryl) House, Paris, TN; son: Roger McGehee, Paris, TN; sisters: Sarah Banks, Lynwood, IL, Robbie Coleman, Robbins, IL; grandchildren: Orman "Rexie" Hewitt, Booker Williams, Inesha Williams, Jamonte Johnson, Brandon Johnson; great-grandchildren: Orman Hewitt, III, Taniyah Hewitt, Tiarra Johnson, Edward Johnson, Serinity Johnson and a long list of family and longtime friends. Preceded by sisters: Louise Diggs, Annie E. Kendall, Brittie Johnson, Lucy Crawford, Mildred Shaw; brothers: David, Tom, Chester, Bobby, and Billy Ray McGehee. Mrs. Williams was employed at Emerson Electric formerly of Paris and she enjoyed going to the casino.
