Funeral service to be held at McEvoy Funeral home on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. with Arthur Lodge officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Named as pallbearers: T.O. Lashlee, Ed Tayloe, Richie Chilcut, David Drexler, Bob Burton and Gatlin Primrose. Honorary pallbearers: Harvey Ross, Bucky Purcell and employees of Ellis Heating Company. Visitation will be held at McEvoy Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 11, 2014 and after 11:00 A.M. Wednesday until service time at 1:00 P.M. Mr. Culley was born in Paris, TN to the late Edgar E. Culley and Robbye Crews Culley. On August 15, 1959 he married Mittie Ellis who preceded him on May 7, 1976. On November 16, 1978 he married Najie Stovall who survives in Paris, TN. Bill is also survived by sons: Rusty (Catherine) Culley of Paris, TN, David Culley of Atlanta, GA, Lance (Karla) Culley of Paris, TN; sister: Camille Culley of Nashville, TN; grandchildren: Marie (Lee) Wilburn, Michael (Whitney) Culley, Michelle Culley, Matthew Culley, Justin Culley; great-great-grandchildren: Griffin Culley, Lee Wilburn and Bennett Wilburn. Mr. Culley joined Ellis Heating Company in 1961, where he became co-owner and CEO. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, former city commissioner, former mayor of Paris, board of directors at BPU, past Captain of the Henry County Rescue Squad. Bill was instrumental in starting Pop Warner Football in Henry County and belonged to various local civic organizations. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Henry County Helping Hand, P.O.
