Survived by his wife Linda Bartlett Edlin of Bristow, OK, they were married March 29, 1972; daughters: Deanna Harvey, Bolder City, NV, Audrey (Mark) Merrittt, Hawthorne, NV, Cassandra Kirkman, Roswell, NM; sisters: Susan Barrentine, Springville, Carolyn Ballard, Tulare, CA; brother: Mike Ballard, Tulare, CA; grandchildren: Eric Beckman, Brouquelle Deck, Averyanna Taylor, Sara Harvey, Annalee Merritt, Bobbie Sue Merritt, Lauraetta Merritt, Cash Kirkman and Jacob Kirkman. Preceded by two daughters: Billie Joe Edlin and Candice June Edlin. Bill was a disabled veteran serving from 1972-1975 in the U.S. Army. He attended His Way Evangelistic Center in Stroud, OK. He loved his music and playing the guitar.
