Memorial graveside service 11:00AM Tuesday at Roselawn Memory Garden with Gary S. Collier officiating. No visitation is scheduled. He was born in Whitlock, TN to the late H. Gustan and Sue B. Claxton Adams. On December 22, 1951 he married Janice Brummitt Adams, she survives in Paris. Survived by a son: Michael D. Adams, Paris; son-in-law: Ronnie G. Boyd, Paris; brothers: Dr. Ray (Peggy) Adams, Trenton, Dr. Robert (Peggy) Adams, Paris; grandchildren: Joshua B. (Reba) Perritt, Eric S. Adams, Adam D. Boyd and two great-grandchildren. Preceded by a daughter: Allyson Ann Adams Boyd and his in-laws: B.B. and Georgia B. Luszcz. Mr. Adams was a member of the First Christian Church where he was an elder and choir member. He attended local grade schools and graduated Grove High School as captain of the football team in 1949. He later attended Bethel. He was inducted into the Paris-henry County sports Hall of Fame. He served in the Air Force and after 37 years he retired from Colt Industries as Production Superintendent. He was a member of the local Masonic Lodge where he received the last Masonic Rites.
