Mr. Billy Jo Alexander, age 62, of Paris, TN died Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Henry County Medical Center. Funeal services will be conducted on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at McEvoy Funeral Home, with cremation to follow. Burial of cremains will take place at a later date in Bird's Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday at McEvoy Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Ron Kennedy, Bill Gallimore and Larry Nichols will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Billy is survived by best friend and long time companion; Martha Marti Kennon Alvarez, Paris, TN. Billy is also survived by his mother; Dorothy Dot Alexander Gallimore, Paris, TN, daughter; Dawn Kathrine Morgan, Colorado Springs, CO, step-daughter; Uli (Jimmy) Pryse, Colorado Springs, CO, son; Daniel Fredrick (Sandra) Alexander, FL, brothers; Charles Thomas (Judy) Alexander, McKenzie, TN, Robert Lynn (Tina) Alexander, Paris, TN, Johnny Dale (Stephanie) Alexander, Lascassas, TN, seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father; Charles Thomas Alexander. Mr. Alexander was a lifetime member of the VFW. He retired as Sergeant First Class from the Army, serving two tours of duty in Vietnam. Billy was a member of Birds Creek Baptist Church.
