He appeared on the Ernest Tubbs Television Show, the Phillip Morris Show and was a regular performer at Renfro Valley until retirement. He has been friends with and performed since the 1940s with greats like Mel Tillis, Willie Nelson, Little Jimmie Dickens, Red Sovine and many, many more. Bun traveled and performed far and wide but was always a Christian man, who loved his family and a Baptist by faith.
