Bobby Ray Olive, age 74 of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. His funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Elder Michael Cowan to officiate. Burial will follow the service in Greenwood Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is scheduled after 12:00 P.M. Wednesday until time of service. Bobby Ray Olive was born July 16, 1945 in Paris, TN to the late Hershall Olive, Sr. and the late Jewell Page Olive. He married Mary Foster Olive in 1996 and she survives in Paris. He is also survived by daughters: Kaye (Carlos) Teague of Paris, Elizabeth Olive of Huntsville, AL, and Barbara Brown of Columbus, OH; sons, David (Arlene) Olive of Stone Mountain, GA, Toronto (Andrea) Olive, Buford, GA, David (Shonette) Hutcherson of Columbus, OH, and Michael Hutcherson of Nashville, TN; sisters, Verlynn Gaines, Zora Sanders, and Virginia Skinner all of Murray, Ky and Donna (Luis) Diaz of Paris; brother, R.C. Olive of Murray, KY; twenty grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Bobby Ray is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. Besides his parents, Bobby Ray is also preceded in death by daughter, Debrah Hutcherson; son, Steve Hutcherson; sisters, Ester Blakemore, Mildred Todd, Paula Byers, Joy Diggs, Bessie Williams, and Jimmarie Kenley; and brothers, C.V. Olive and Hershall Olive, Jr. Mr. Olive worked and retired from Henry Farmers Co-op in Paris with over 30 years of service. He devoted his time as chairman at the Church of the Living God in Paris.
