Funeral Service to be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 18th at the Sparks Street Church of Christ with Bro. Ed Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until service time at 1:00 P.M. Mr. Tharpe was born in Mansfield, TN to the late Anderson Tharpe and Carrie Teague Tharpe. Survived by his son: Camron Wyatt Tharpe of Paris, TN; sisters: Shirley Harris of Mansfield, TN, Beverly (Michael) Milliken of Mansfield, TN, Louise Brown of Mansfield, TN, Celeste Thompson of Paris, TN, Betty McDonald of Paris, TN; brother: Bracie (Peggy) Tharpe of Mansfield, TN. He is also survived by special niece and caretaker Makecia Woodruff as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. Preceded by a sister, Ruby Jean Woodruff. Bobby was a member of Sparks Street Church of Christ. He worked at Paris Health Care for fifteen years and he loved to fish. (His nick-name was the Icon of Love)
