Bobby Mason Williams, age 85 of Paris, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Henry County Healthcare Center. His funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 21, 2018 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Simmons and Bro. Trent Bullock of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 P.M. Thursday, September 20, 2018 at McEvoy Funeral Home and after 9:00 A.M. Friday prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Horace Whitehead, David Flowers, Jimmy Williams, Earl Williams, Harrell French, and John Dale French.
Bobby Mason Williams was born September 1, 1933 in Murray, Kentucky to the late Grover C. Williams and the late Lora M. Williams. On September 4, 1955 he married Faye Throgmorton Williams and she survives in Paris, TN. Mr. Williams is also survived by a son, Mark Mason (Meri) Williams of Collierville, TN; three grandchildren: Laura Elizabeth (Andrew) Rice of Springville, TN, Cade Alexander Williams and Samantha Campbell Williams both of Collierville, TN; and one great grandchild, Anderson William Rice.
Mr. Williams graduated from Buchanan High School in 1953. He was branch manager of Commercial Bank & Trust, Co. where he worked for 28 years at East Wood and Henry. He was a member of First Baptist Church and a member of the Paris Masonic Lodge.
