Bobby Ray Wilson age 79 of Spring Hill, TN passed away Sunday March 5, 2017 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. His graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday March 8, 2017 at Maplewood Cemetery in Paris, TN with Bro. Randy Cooper of the First United Methodist Church in Martin officiating. Visitation is scheduled on Wednesday after 1:00 P.M. until time to leave for the graveside service at 2:00. Named as pallbearers are Paul Wilson, Matt Wilson, Charles Harding, Joseph Harding, Chris Harding and Andy Harding. Mr. Wilson was born on August 10, 1937 to Ray Wilson and Aliph Allen Wilson, both preceded. He married Sue Harding, formerly of Cottage Grove, on January 19, 1962 and she is now a resident of the Spring Hill area. He is also survived by son: David Allen Wilson and Stace of Fairview, Tennessee and grandchildren: Paul, Matt, Nick, and Blair. Bobby is also preceded in death by his daughter: Judith Wilson Thomason and by a sister: Patricia Walton.
Mr. Wilson lived the great majority of his life in Memphis and Germantown, TN. He and his wife recently moved to Spring Hill. Bobby was educated at Treadwell High School in Memphis and was a graduate of Memphis State University. He worked in Memphis at the American Finishing Company, B.F. Goodrich, and Jones and Sweany Inc. before starting his own business in 1988. He owned and operated Bobby Wilson and Associates until his retirement in 2006. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Germantown Baptist Church.
