Boyce Waldo Green, age 87 of Springville, TN, passed away Sunday January 31, 2016 at his residence. Funeral service 2:00PM Wednesday February 3, 2016 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Gary Collier officiating, burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation 4:00 - 7:00PM Tuesday and after 12:00 Noon Wednesday until service time. Mr. Green was born in Henry County, TN to the late Earlie and Addie Howard Green. On November 7, 1964 he married Novalee Carter Green, she survives, Springville, TN.Survived by a daughter: Sarah (Brian) Scott, Paris, TN; grandchildren: Aspen Scott, Aden Scott, Avery Scott and Allison Scott all of Paris, TN; sister: Dorothy (Robert) Easley; brother: Kenneth (Tressa) Green, Springville, TN; brother-in-law: Jackie Allen, Springville, TN; mother-in-law: Hazel Carter; brothers-in-law: Samuel (Donna) Carter, Raymond (Darlene) Carter and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Preceded by a grandchild: Alivia Scott and a sister: Wanda Allen. Mr. Green was a farmer early in his life. He worked for Emerson Elec. from 1965-1967. After leaving Emerson he worked at Midland Brake until his retirement in 1994. He was a member of the Pioneer Families of Henry County being a descendant of John Marberry who was a member of the first county court.
