Brandi Jill Boyd Williams, age 46, left this earthly home on May 24, 2026.
Brandi was born on February 5, 1980, in Paris, Tennessee, to the late Joe Garvis Boyd and the late Sarah Elizabeth “Bo” Brockwell Boyd. Brandi was a member of Hazel Baptist Church, a graduate of Henry County High School, and attended Murray State University. She worked as an in-home caretaker for many years.
From an early age, Brandi loved horses, reading, singing, attending rodeos, and cross-stitching. She had a strong interest in Egyptian and European History, and in Greek mythology. She had a wealth of knowledge in those subjects and loved sharing it with others. She was a great cook taught by her Mom, and mastered many things in the kitchen. She found great joy in being able to feed her family and friends. Brandi loved the Supernatural TV Series and Marvel Comic Movies. Brandi enjoyed playing board and card games with her family and friends. Her spirit animal was a Frog and she was a die-hard Country Music and Journey fan. You would almost always see a Dr. Pepper in her hand.
Brandi instantly made friends with everyone she met. She always had a smile on her face, a kind word, and a big hug to share. Brandi was able to make you smile with her quick wit or an interesting fact.
Brandi is survived by her daughters, whom she loved to the Moon and Back: Isabella Williams of Hazel, Kentucky, and Olivia Williams of Paris.
She is also survived by her sisters, Lyn (Rod) Frey and Beth (Michael) Savage, all of Paris, Jennifer (John) Latham of Jackson, Tennessee, and Paula (James) Hofmann of Burke, Virginia; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who loved and cared for her deeply.
Besides her parents, Brandi is also preceded in death by her brother, Joe Stace Boyd, and her sister, Carol Tate.
A public remembrance visitation with her family is planned for Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at McEvoy Funeral Home. A private family burial will take place later at Maplewood Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews, who often and affectionately called her Aunt B: Stacie Savage, Hunter Frey, Katie Savage, Samuel Latham, Ryan Latham, Jaxon Frey, Quinton Latham, and Riley Fuller.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Rheumatoid Arthritis Research, c/o: Collette Novak, 2200 Lake Blvd. NE, Atlanta, GA 30319.
