Ms. Brenda Jo Kreitz, age 69, of Springville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at her residence. Her body is to be cremated and a family celebration of life will be planned for a later date.

Brenda Jo was born on March 9, 1956 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Alton B. "Spooky" Stracener and the late Beverly Joyce Weaks Stracener. She is survived by her sons, Daniel "LD" (Kim) Kreitz of Springville and Dustin Kreitz of Tiptonville; grandchildren, Kikki Kreitz, Delisa Kreitz, Brittany Hensley, Ethen Kreitz, Thomas Jay Kreitz, Sam Greene, and Zach Olsen; great-grandchildren, Delilah Robison and Drew Robison; sisters, Wanda Gordon and Pat Stracener both of Norfolk, Virginia; daughter-in-law, Jessica Kreitz of Springville; and by numerous other family members and friends.

Besides her parents, Brenda is also preceded in death by her daughters, Danielle Kreitz and Sheila Anne Craig; son, Devin Kreitz; grand-daughter, Ruby Kreitz; sisters, Linda Clark, Cindy Stracener, and Debbie Stracener.

Mrs. Kreitz was owner and operator of Spooky's Bar and Grill. She entertained her family through her quick witted comments and candid remarks even on serious subjects. Brenda never met a stranger, she loved her family dearly and most especially her grandchildren.
