Mr. Brian D. Earney, age 68, of Springville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Henry County Medical Center. His body is to be cremated and a celebration of life for family and friends will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022, at the Annabel Room of Buchanan Resort from 3:00 until 8:00 P.M. Brian Earney was born September 26, 1953 in Granite City, Illinois to the late Howard A. "Scotty" Earney and the late Annie T. Hoy Earney. He is survived by his daughters, Kellie Earney Grimes and husband Scott of Granite City, Illinois and Kathrine Earney Robbins and husband Nathan of Fairview Heights, Illinois; grandchildren, Desiray "Dizzy" Grimes and Matthew "Bugs" Reed; also survived by one sister and one brother along with nieces, nephews, other family members and many great friends. Besides his parents, Brian is also preceded in death by two brothers. Mr. Earney was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served in Vietnam. Brian and both his daughters were lifetime members of VFW Post #1300 in Granite City, Illinois. He was an avid fisherman who spent most days on the lake near Buchanan Resort. Brian enjoyed sitting on his front porch sipping a cold white can and listening to good tunes where a good time was had by all who joined him. He loved spending time with his family, most especially his grandchildren and his two grand pups, Jackson and Scotch.
