Albert "Buster" Camper, age 65 of Big Sandy, TN passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at his residence. His funeral service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow at Blooming Grove Cemetery in McKenzie. Visitation will be at McEvoy Funeral Home from 4:00-7:00 PM Monday, August 10, 2020 and after 11:00 AM Tuesday. Pallbearers will be B.J. Camper, Robert Camper, Wayne Camper, Mitchell Camper, Danny Goode, Rick Butler, Blake Coleman and Dan Morgan. Albert D. "Buster" Camper was born December 31, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Elbert "Slim" Camper and the late Susan Ruth Emery Camper. On December 22, 2001 he married Wanda Bates Camper and she survives in Big Sandy, TN. Along with his wife, Buster is also survived by three daughters: Elizabeth R. Camper of Big Sandy, TN, Christian Camper of Florida, and Valerie Camper of Georgia; one son, Albert D. "B.J." Camper, Jr. of Big Sandy, TN; one brother, Elbert "Butch" Camper, Jr. (Carolyn) of Puryear, TN; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Besides his parents, Buster was preceded in death by two sisters, Virgie Hutto and Rose Mary Carroll. Mr. Camper was retired from the military after serving 22 and a half years in the United States Army.
