Carl N. Herndon, age 85 of Paris, TN passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025, at his residence. His body is to be cremated, a memorial service is being planned for a later date.

Carl Nathan Herndon was born November 25, 1939, in Big Sandy, Tennessee, to the late Paul Herndon and the late Dora Ladessa Martin Herndon. He married Judy VanCleave Herndon on June 23, 1961, and she survives in Paris. Carl is also survived by his daughter, Teressa Herndon Chenoweth of Paris; grandson, William Derek Chenoweth (Dana Burke) of Paris; great granddaughter, Aubrey Jade Chenoweth; and is survived by special friends, Ronnie Wimberley, Gary Quillin, Freddie Cole and Jerry Culpepper, along with numerous other close family members and friends.

Mr. Herndon was a longtime member of Springhill Baptist Church. He worked as a supervisor at the former Midland Ross (Haldex) of Paris with over 40 years of service. Carl was an avid sportsman, enjoying football, softball, and playing golf.
