On September 5, 1998 he married Gwendolyn Anne Johnson, she survives in Paris. Survived by step-mother: Priscilla Kendall; step-sons: Brian Coleman, Louisville, KY, Prentice Coleman, Milan; sister: Daphne Gill, Chicago, IL; brothers: Franklin (Tomeka) Perry, Paris, Chris Tharpe, TX; grandchildren: two both of Milan, TN; in-laws: Susie Teague and Herman Tharpe, both of Paris; very special aunt: Margaret Tharpe, special cousin: Lavelle Perry; special friends: Poo Kendley, Billy Kendley, Dennis Tharpe, Ricky Tharpe and Derrick Fitzgerald, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, Preceded by son: Sanchez Martin and his grandparents: Johnny and Britty Johnson.
