Funeral service 2:00PM Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Andre Richardson officiating, burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Corey D. Hartsfield, Derrick Allen, Keith Washum, Rufus Upchurch, Raymond Tharpe and Rory Ray. Visitation 12:00Noon until service time Saturday. He was the son of the late George Perry and Diane Johnson. On September 5, 1998 he married Gwendolyn Anne Johnson, she survives in Paris. Survived by step-mother: Priscilla Kendall; step-sons: Brian Coleman, Louisville, KY, Prentice Coleman, Milan; sister: Daphne Gill, Chicago, IL; brothers: Franklin (Tomeka) Perry, Paris, Chris Tharpe, TX; grandchildren: two both of Milan, TN; in-laws: Susie Teague and Herman Tharpe, both of Paris; very special aunt: Margaret Tharpe, special cousin: Lavelle Perry; special friends: Poo Kendley, Billy Kendley, Dennis Tharpe, Ricky Tharpe and Derrick Fitzgerald, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, Preceded by son: Sanchez Martin and his grandparents: Johnny and Britty Johnson. Carl loved sports, music and especially his friends.
