Mr. Carl E. Morgan, age 65, of Cottage Grove, Tennessee passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. His funeral service will be 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Stephens officiating. Named as honorary pallbearers are: Jeremy Hunter, Nader Fares, Timmy Miles, Kevin Miles, Ron Marino, Joey Robertson, and Clifford Anderson. Visitation is scheduled Tuesday after 11:30 A.M. until time of service. Carl Morgan was born on July 18, 1953 in Dover, Tennessee to the late Henry Morgan and the late Elizabeth Shoemake Morgan. He married Mary Stanley Morgan on April 19, 1974 and she survives in Cottage Grove, Tennessee. He is also survived by sons: Carl Edward (Ginny) Morgan, Jr. of Columbus, Ohio, Justin Edward Morgan of Cottage Grove, Nash (Lorie) Fares of Rogers, Texas, and Nader Fares of Cottage Grove; sister: Wanda Morgan of Paris; brothers: Danny (Belinda) Morgan, Randall (Teresa) Morgan, and Terry (Brenda) Morgan, all of Paris; grandchildren: Carla Morgan of Florida, Emily (Barrett) Evan of Temple, Texas, Ryan Fares of Rockton, Illinois, and Riley Fares of Rogers, Texas; great grandchild: Emersyn Evan; and numerous other family members and special friends. Mr. Morgan was Church of Christ by faith. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who especially enjoyed his grandchildren. SERVICES Funeral Service
