Carol Holcomb Evans, 72, of Paris died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017 at her home. She was a member of West Paris Baptist Church. Evans was retired and had operated a retail clothing store, The Style Shop, for many years in Paris along with her mother, the late Ethel Holcomb. Surviving are her husband Terry L. Evans of Paris; two sons, Chris Evans (Allison) of Marion, Ky., and Bob Evans (Donna) of Paris; grandchildren, Adam Evans of Paris and Meredith Evans, Benjamin Evans and Elliot Evans, all of Marion, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel Hargett Holcomb and Roy Clyde Holcomb; a sister, Joyce Crutcher; and two brothers, Bobby Holcomb and Donald Holcomb. The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 25 at McEvoy Funeral Home in Paris. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 26 at the funeral home with her son, Chris, and Rev. David Combs officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m., until the funeral hour. Burial will be at Bevil Cemetery in Paris.
