Carol A. Mathis, age 74 of Paris, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at AHC Healthcare of Paris. A private family service will be held at a later date. Carol A. Mathis was born August 5, 1946 in Orlando, Florida to the late Edward F. Lindley and the late Mildred F. Schult Lindley. She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne (Paul) Monroe of Martin, TN; son, Donnie Mathis of Paris,TN; brother, Bill (Missy) Lindley of Paris, TN; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and special friend and caregiver, Sherry Barlow of Paris. Besides her parents, Carol was also preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Mathis; and a brother, Edward Lindley, Jr. Carol worked at Henry County Nursing Home for many years.
