Ms. Carol "Renae" Parrish, age 51 passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022 at her residence. Her funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Henry with Bro. Joe Eaton, Bro. Kevin Gallimore, and Bro. John Sutton to officiate. Named as pallbearers are, Zach Carper, Tyler Webb, Jerry Stallions Jr., Jerry Stallions III, Ryan Parrish, Jody Odle, Coltin Bailey, and Clint Parrish; with honorary pallbearers, Andrea Stallions, Bethany "Jupiter" Bailey, Ezra Carper, Lane Carper, Kayle Raines, and DeLaina Green. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
Visitation is scheduled on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at McEvoy Funeral Home from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. and again on Thursday at the church after 11:00 A.M. until time of service.
Carol "Renae" Parrish was born June 19, 1971 in Huntingdon, Tennessee to Larry and Carol Nanney Parrish, both of Henry, Tennessee. She is also survived by her son, Joshua Parrish (Kayle Raines) of Paris, sisters, Kristen Carper (Jerry Stallions, Jr.) of Henry and Amanda Parrish Bailey of Henry; brother, Ryan "Cartman" Parrish of Paris; nieces and nephews, Zach (Laura) Carper, Tyler Webb, Andrea Stallions, Jerry Stallions III, Coltin Bailey, and Bethany "Jupiter" Bailey; great nephews, Ezra and Lane Carper; also by aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members.
Renae is also preceded in death by her grandparents, William "Bud" and Orville Nanney and Coarm and Ernestine Parrish and by her uncle, Ronnie Parrish.
Ms. Parrish was an active and longtime member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where she served as secretary and church coordinator. Renae made spending time with her son Josh a priority in her life as well as the rest of her family. She also enjoyed Bible studies, her church family, cooking and concerts, especially Eric Church. Renae also loved her trips to the Smokey Mountains with her family. She was a longtime valued employee of Wal Mart in Paris where she loved her work family and customers.
