Carolyn Ann Hill Mcdaniel

Mrs. Carolyn Ann Hill McDaniel, age 77, of Jackson, TN and Henry County died Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Regional Hospital in Jackson, TN. Her funeral service will be on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at McEvoy Funeral Home at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in the poplar Grove Cemetery in Springville, TN. Visitation will be on Friday evening at McEvoy Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. until service time on Saturday. Mrs. McDaniel is survived by her husband Kenneth McDaniel. They were married on September 5, 1953. Mrs. McDaniel is also survived by brother in law; Calvin Jones, Paris, TN, brothers; Roy (Georgia Ann) Hill, Paris, TN, Ray (Roberta) Hill, Paris, TN, grandson; Christopher Shields (Kelly Sikes) Walker, Jackson, TN, great grandson; Grayson Shields Walker, Jackson, TN. She is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews and a number of great nieces, great nephews, and many great great nieces and nephews. Mrs. McDaniel is preceded by parents; Pack and Marie Hastings Hill, daughter; Sheryl Ann McDaniel, and sister; Ruth Jones. Mrs. McDaniel was a graduate of Manleyville Elementary School, and Springville High School. She had served as past president of the Jackson Jaycettes, and vice president of Ken McDaniel Construction Company in Jackson, TN. Carolyn was a life long Methodist and was a member of Northside United Methodist Church, Jackson, TN.
