Former PML and Dollar General Store employee Carolyn Bain Rogers, 66, of Springville died Sunday, July 25, 2010, at her residence.
Her husband, Tex E. Rogers, survives. They were married on Oct. 8, 1987.
Her first husband, R.W. Wac Cole, died July 28, 1986.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at McEvoy Funeral Home. Gary S. Collier and family members will officiate. Burial will be in the Mansfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
Chosen as pallbearers are Cotton Sanders, Mike Cole, Robert Brown, Billy Warden, Russ Wimberley and Matt Perry.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Born in Camden Dec. 4, 1943, she was a daughter of the late J.L. Dick Bain and Lucille McClain Bain.
Rogers was a member of Mansfield Baptist Church and retired from the Dollar General Store on Highway 79 northeast of Paris.
She also leaves one stepson: Dale Rogers of Big Sandy; four sisters: Betty (Cotton) Sanders, Reba Foster, Cindy (Mike) Cole and Annette (Billy) Warden, all of Springville;
Her nieces and nephews, whom she considered as her children: Lisa Young of Paris, Benneta (Brad) Olds of Ashland City, Vicki (Robert) Brown of Hollow Rock, Christy (Russ) Wimberley of Mansfield and Tammy (T.J.) Holtman of Florence, Ky.; Timm (Trish) Sanders and Jared (Desiree) Cole, both of Springville, and Jeremiah (Casey) Cole and Justen (Brandi) Byars, both of Paris;
Five great-nieces: Brooke (Matt) Perry and Sydney Wood, both of Springville, Brittany Young of Richmond, Ky., and Lacy Alton and Carly Holtman, both of Florence, Ky.;
Seven great-nephews: Alan Brisendine of Murray, Colton Mansfield of Mansfield, Dylan Brown of Hollow Rock, Gage Byars and Jacob Cole, both of Paris, Cade Holtman of Florence and Denzel and Dominique Young, both of Richmond; and a great-great-niece: Faith Perry of Springville.
She also was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Ray Bain; a brother-in-law, Bill Foster; and a niece, Karen Sanders Anderson.
