Cathy Jean Jones Warf

Cathy Jean Jones Warf, age 76, of Henry, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at her residence. A graveside celebration of life is planned for 1:00 P.M. on Monday, November 23, which is her husband Larry Warf’s birthday. Their daughter, Jennifer Hayes, will be giving a word of encouragement at the graveside at Covington Memorial Gardens, with burial to follow there, next to Cathy’s husband, Larry.

Cathy Jones Warf was born on December 26, 1949, in Covington, Tennessee, to the late Harry Bennie Jones and the late Florence Imogene Johnson. She married Larry Warf on August 11, 1967, and he preceded her in death on May 3, 2021. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Hayes of Paris; grandchildren, Lindsey (T.J.) Frey, Evie Leigh Hayes, and Christian Parker Hayes; great-grandchildren, Lyza Leigh Gallimore and Trigger Lehnen Frey; sister, Marsha (Sonny) Lipinski of Elizabeth City, North Carolina; brother, Ronald Jones of Covington; also by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Cathy is preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Leigh Warf.

Mrs. Warf was a very compassionate home health and hospice nurse for many years. She enjoyed fishing with her husband, was an avid quilter and a dedicated homemaker. Cathy found joy in cooking “home-cooked” meals for family and friends. Cathy loved spending time on the family farm with her grandkids and great-grands.
