Funeral services for Mrs. Cecil Edith Blackwood, age 93, of Paris, TN will be conducted on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 2:00 PM at McEvoy Chapel with burial to follow at Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at McEvoy Funeral Home. Mrs. Blackwood was married to Joseph Earl Blackwood who precedes her. She is survived by a daughter; Sandra Williams, sisters; Maudean Matheny, Paris, TN, five grandchildren and one great- grandchild. She is preceded by parents; William Talmadge and Maude Forrester Wilkinson, son; David Blackwood, sister; Lucille Bomar. Mrs. Blackwood was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was a retired L.P.N. and Life Member of D.A.V Axillary.
