Charlie K. Davis, age 80 of Hollow Rock. TN, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016 at his residence. His funeral service will be at 3:00 PM Thursday, September 22, 2016 at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Shiloh Cemetery in Mansfield, TN. Gary Collier of First United Methodist Church in Paris will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 4:00-8:00 PM and after noon on Thursday, all at McEvoy Funeral Home. Pallbearers for Mr. Davis will be: Lynn Brown, Cameron Roberts, Rex Davis, Jessie Wilson, Leroy Hamlin, and Steve England. Honorary Pallbearers will be: All of the Henry County School System Bus Drivers. Charles K. Davis was born on September 6, 1936 in Mansfield, TN to the late Isaac "Ike" Davis and the late Gladys Hastings Davis. He is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Ann (Jesse) Wilson of Como, TN; two sons, Charles Kenneth (Charlene Bates) Davis, Jr. of Mansfield, TN and Joey (Charlotte) Davis of Hollow Rock, TN; one sister, Bessie Ruth Ashby of Mansfield, TN; one brother, Carl Blake Davis of Mansfield, TN; eight grandchildren, Johnathan Arnold, Sabrina Tipton, Jeffery Wilson, Carolyn Morse, Rex Davis, Faith Roberts, Cameron Roberts, and Eliana Davis; eighteen great-grandchildren and numerous special friends. Mr. Davis was a bus driver in the Henry County School System for 50 years and also worked at Jim Adams for numerous years. He was in the Tennessee National Guard for eight years and he was a very special father and grandfather. SERVICES Funeral Service
