Mr. Charles A. Davis, age 77 passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Henry County Medical Center. His funeral service will be held at McEvoy Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. Bro. Charles Cate and Bro. Willard Alls will conduct the ceremony. Visitation is scheduled on Monday, July 30, 2012 at McEvoy Funeral Home from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. and again on Tuesday after 9:00 A.M. until service time. Charles is survived by his wife Shirley Allen Davis; daughter, Kim (Jim) Adams; son, Jeff (Gayla) Davis, all of Springville, Tennessee. He is also survived by one sister, one brother and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Charles was a member of the Springville Church of Christ. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in Guam. Charles was a member of the IBEW, local 1925 out of Martin and also a member of the VFW. He was disabled in 1988 and made his grandchildren and great grandchildren his hobby.
