Mr. Charles A. Johnson, age 80 of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Henry County Healthcare Center. A "Celebration of Life" will be planned and announced at a later date. Mr. Johnson was born on September 1, 1937 in Twin Lakes, Iowa to the late Mitchell and Pearl Mack Johnson. He is survived by his sister: Irene Palmer of Paris; nephews: Jackie D. Berryhill of California, Bryan Berryhill of Kentucky and Marc Berryhill of McKenzie, Tennessee; and a niece: Patti Palmer of Buchanan, Tennessee. He is also preceded in death by his sister: Ellie Skillen who passed away on May 16, 2002; his brothers in law: Ollie Eugene Palmer who passed away on March 10, 2001 and Jackie D. Berryhill. Mr. Johnson worked for 30 years and retired with Eclipse Targets in Sylmar, California. He attended First Baptist Church in Paris. Charles was an avid collector of postcards and enjoyed arts and crafts. He had a charismatic personality and a family member said that they were told that Charles had a gentle kind spirit.
