Charles Allen McCormick, age 78 of Buchanan, TN passed away Thursday October 27, 2016 in Paris, TN. Funeral service 2:00PM Sunday, October 30, 2016 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Teddy Hill of Jesus Saves Baptist Church officiating, burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Buchanan, TN. Named as pallbearers are Jason Chadwick, Justin Chadwick, Allen McCormick, Kevin Capps, David Capps and David Chadwick. Visitation 4:00 - 7:00PM Saturday and after 12:00PM Sunday. He was born February 14, 1938 in Buchanan, TN to the late Benard "Elwood" and Normal "Elsie" Bailey McCormick. Survived by daughters: Patricia Stewart, KY, Leisha Hastings, Buchanan, TN, Karen (David) Chadwick, Buchanan, TN; sister: Norma (Roy) Capps, Rutherford, TN; grandchildren: Jason Chadwick, Justin Chadwick, Allen McCormick, Samantha Tanner, Leann Vallery, Jennifer Oliver, Matthew Brown; great-grandchildren: thirteen and several nieces and nephews. Preceded by a son: Darren McCormick and a grandchild: Maria Oliver. Mr. McCormick attended Jesus Saves Baptist Church. He was an automotive mechanic for many years and enjoyed fishing.
